The Bethlehem Cross

As the Gospel describes Jesus's birth, the complete salvation story
also unfolds. The manger represents Jesus's birth and in the gifts the magi
bring, His death and resurrection are symbolized with the myrrh, gold and
frankincense. As you look at the Bethlehem Cross the creche is in an
abstract form representing His birth, the cross, His death and the
resurrection is seen in the "wings", as in the phoenix
(an early Christian Symbol) rising from the death.
